Trail Route

A lock on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal near Linthwaite

The sculpture trail will use the canal towpath as a backbone for a number of short circular walks along public footpaths.

Once completed, it will be possible to visit either a small part of the trail or all of it in one go - if you're feeling ambitious!

We are aiming to make the trail as accessible as possible, with at least one loop accessible to wheelchairs, pushchairs, etc.

If you would like to talk to us about the possibility of using your land as a site for a sculpture or as part of the route of the trail, please GET IN TOUCH!

         Where Are We?

The Colne Valley is located in West Yorkshire, just outside Huddersfield, on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park.  The River Colne runs through the villages of Marsden, Slaithwaite, Linthwaite and Milnsbridge.
