Eastergate
| Artist Lewis Morgan has been
commissioned to create a stone 'sculptural feature' at the entrance to the
Marsden Moor Estate near Eastergate Bridge.
These are Lewis's initial ideas, which he will develop during community consultation as part of the project:
Local people will be invited to take part in creative workshops and healthy walking initiatives. |

The project will replace this wooden signpost with a carved stone 'sculptural feature', incorporating the National Trust sign and interpretation panel:
We have just secured all the funds we need for this project, which will begin in April 2008.
